Classroom Thankful Turkey
1. cut out a feather shape on large construction paper. I use fall colors.
2. Send one home to each family to decorate.
3. Have families write on and decorate with all things they are thankful for and send in to create a classroom turkey. I send home supplies for families that request it. Families use pictures, write one it, decorate, cut out pictures from magazines. I leave all the creativity up to the families.
This is a great classroom family project for all grade levels. The kids love to share their feathers with the class and discuss their family project.
