Coloring and Cutting Out Shapes Activity for Preschoolers
Preschool students are often working at building up their fine motors skills. At Second Home Child Development Center, they did a fun activity where they carefully colored within outlines of shapes and then cut those shapes out with scissors to show off to everyone!
Coloring and cutting!
Everyone had a lot of fun as they took their crayons and colored within the shapes. Then they used their scissors to very carefully cut the outlines and take their shapes out. You can do this activity with your own students very easily by printing outlines of shapes and then encouraging everyone to color within them and then cut them out. It is an easy and fun activity as children learn to master their fine motor skills!
