Edible Tractors- fine motor
This month’s theme is Transportation. Students have been learning about vehicles with “wheels” this week, that travel on land. For this tractor activity we are focusing on fine motor skills, talking about tractors, and also color recognition and identification. Using printable “Dot Marker” sheets and colorful cereal, students used either fingers to grasp or tweezers and glue to create a colorful tractor. Communication core boards with color names, vehicle names were used. Side note: only a few students actually tried to eat the cereal. Other options are to use colorful stickers, stamps or dot markers to complete the tractor picture.
