Halloween Sensory Bins
These are Halloween themed Sensory bins my children love them.
I teach 0-5 year olds and this is my 0-2 year old class. I took rice and colored it orange with a little bit of vinegar added and let it dry. I then added spiders, flies, roaches, aphids, and other creepy crawler bugs. The children then used a baby scoop or the 2 sided scoops that open like scissors to scoop up the rice and bugs and try and fill the bottles. The bottles for Halloween I put a pumpkin face on them. Petfect for fine motor skills. Only thing the children want to take them home to keep. These however are messy to do. I have also used beans and added pirate coins and the letters ABC”S and played a game with twisters and they had to pick out the letter I called out. Also you can do sensor bins for Christmas, summer, fall anytime of year you would like it to be. Shaving cream sensory bins the children love them as well.
