Adjectives are words that are used to describe a noun. This adjective-naming game features insects and has students looking at the insect and then picking an adjective that accurately describes it. It is a fantastic game for learning what adjectives are and how to use them.

How to play this game
To do this game you need to look at an insect--such as a grasshopper--and then pick the adjective that accurately describes it--green. Each insect has an adjective that goes with it. The full list of the insect and its adjectives are as such:
green - grasshopper, long legs - spider, beautiful - butterfly, blue - leaf beetle, hairy - bumblebee, horned - rhinoceros beetle, gray - mosquito, strong - ant, spotted - ladybug, striped - bee, long - worm, purple - dragonfly.
Kids will have fun learning about adjectives and then putting them with the correct insect!
