Learning about Apples

We put apple slices in three separate jars with water, lemon juice, and Vinegar. We talked about what we thought would happen to the different slices. Most of the kids thought that the apple in the jar with water would be the best one. At the end of the week we looked at them all and talked about what changed for each of the apple slices.

This week we also tried different colored apples and different things made out of apples. We made mini apple pies for each of the kids to snack on too.

We talked about the life cycle of apples and used apple halves to create apple art. We used red, green, and yellow paint and plain white paper.
