Learning About Europe by Building Castles and Painting Alps
At Stoneview Children's University, they learned about the continent of Europe. They learned about how Europe has many old castles that once housed royal families--and that some castles still have kings and queens in them! The children also learned about Europe's mountain range known as the Alps. After learning about all these subjects they made castles out of paper cups and painted clay shaped like the Alps!
Creating castles
The children had paper cups and other items they used to create beautiful and complex castles which were carefully stacked. They looked impressive!
Painting the Alps
Dried pieces of clay shaped like the mountainous Alps were presented to the students and they then painted them! Their creations were very cool.
