Learning About the Life Cycle of Plants
At Prep Montessori Academy of Garland, they have spent the week learning all about plants and their life cycle! The students have done a number of fun activities to learn all about plants and how they work.
The kids had fun learning about how having dyed water in a plant's roots can impact its colors as it absorbs the water.
Children had a great time matching blocks to illustrate the life-cycle of a plant.
All the students watched as a speaker discussed the pollination process and how it is key in the life cycle of plants.
Plants often start as seeds or pollen and then are planted and grow until they are big and leafy--sometimes with fruits or flowers. The children all had a fantastic time learning about plants and their life cycle!
