Painting a Rainbow After the Storm
At Our Lady of the Presentation Early Childhood Center, they learned all about storms and how they happen. One big element of storms is how afterward rainbows often appear! Upon learning this the kiddos were eager to paint their own rainbow like the kind that appears after a major storm. The class was excited to set up the big piece of paper and take turns laying out the colors of the rainbow also known as ROYGBIV.
What is ROYGBIV
ROYGBIV is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. These seven colors make up the rainbow. After the class learned about the colors of the rainbow they got to work with the paint so they could begin making one!
Painting a beautiful rainbow
The students loved creating a wonderful rainbow and collaborating to paint it.
