Celena Kinsey shared about a fun painting activity she did with her toddler that featured a unique, "Paintbrush," in the form of plastic eggs! This activity is great to do around Easter for that reason, but this is honestly perfect year-round to do at home with your toddler.
Materials Needed for This Painting Activity
To do this painting activity you will need:
- Plastic eggs
- Paint (tempera or acrylics works well)
- Paper plates
- Construction paper
How to Do the Painting Activity
To do this painting activity follow these steps:
- Put globs of paint on the paper plate.
- Take the plastic eggs and dip them in the paint.
- Use the plastic eggs like a paintbrush and spread the paint with them on the construction paper.
- Repeat until you are done painting!
