Planet Earth Paint-Squirting Craft
At Beth Tikvah Congregation Early Childhood Center, they talked all about our planet, Earth! The students discussed how important it is to take care of our planet and not litter. They also talked about how we should recycle. After discussing Earth, the kiddos made their own versions of the planet by squirting green and blue paint on circular pieces of cardboard!
Materials needed for this craft
To make your own earth you will need the following:
*Newspaper (to catch any spillover)
*A circular piece of cardboard
*Green and blue paint that can be squirted out
*Red construction paper (optional)
*Scissors (optional)
*Glue (optional)
How to do this craft
To make your own planet Earth you can follow these steps:
1. Lay down your newspaper and put the circular piece of cardboard atop it.
2. Squirt your blue and green paint to make a planet Earth with an ocean and continents.
3. While the paint dries you can cut a little red heart out of some construction paper and then glue it to your Earth if you want to show how you love the planet!
4. Show everyone the Earth that you've created!
