Police Badge Shapes
Lesson: Police Badge Shape Matching.
INFANT:
Materials:
• Police Badge Shapes
• Physical Shape (I used bean bags)
Instructions:
• Print off Police Badges – Laminate for extra protection!
• Choose 3-4 shapes
• Provide “physical” shape for the infant to hold – I used shape bean bags
• Have them match the shape to the correct badge.
TODDLER:
Materials:
• Police Badge Shapes
• Physical Shape (I used bean bags)
Instructions:
• Print off Police Badges – Laminate for extra protection!
• Choose 6-8 shapes
• Provide “physical” shape for the toddler to hold – I used shape bean bags
• Have them match the shape to the correct badge.
PRESCHOOL:

• Have them match the shape to the correct badge.
SCHOOL-AGE:
Materials:
• Police Badge Shapes
• Tape/Pins
Instructions:
• Print off Police Badges – Laminate for extra protection!
• Have them search around the room for examples of the shapes within the classroom.
• Once they have found and example, have them “Pin” (tape) the badge to that particular shape.
EXTRA: You could have them break into two teams and make it a race to see who can find the shapes around the room quickest.
