Preschool Christmas tree paper towel roll painting
We used a paper towel roll. Dipped the circle end in green paint. (My class age is 20 months to 4 1/2.) I let them make green circles all over a white sheet of paper. Then I cut it out in a triangle tree shape. Some were bigger or skinnier depending on where the circles ended up. Then we sprinkled a little gold glitter on the wet paint. I placed a blank sheet on top and we applied a little pressure so the glitter would stick to the green paint, remove the paper. Then they used dauber markers to make the ornaments. A little glue at the top for a star 'pompom' and a glued on brown paper tree trunk! And a Christmas tree it is! The children enjoyed it.
