Toilet paper Roll Maracas
This weeks theme is Music. we have talked about different music styles, played with different instruments on Garage Band and that have had the opportunity to play some actual instruments. we have also read some great books about music. The Kids have loved it so much. I think it's one of their favorite Themes so far. Especially because it's so hand on. Kids at an early age are already inclined to love music and Dance. It's like they were all born to dance and play music. whether they end up being great or not they are all artist at this age. The kids already love playing with their classroom egg shakers to their favorite songs so, we decided to have them make their own shakers using toilet paper rolls. We used toilet paper rolls, Dried beans, glue and paper at the ends to make toilet paper roll maracas. The kids loved coloring the toilet paper rolls and adding their personal touches to their maracas.
