Toilet Paper Roll Monkey Craft
This craft done by Mary's Little Lamb Pre-school involves taking a used toilet paper roll and creating a monkey out of it! The kids had a great time taking something that would normally be recycled and using it along with construction paper to make a cute monkey!
Materials needed for this craft
To make your own toilet paper roll monkey you will need:
*Toilet paper roll
*Dark brown construction paper
*Light brown construction paper
*Scissors
*Glue
*Googly eyes
*Marker
How to make a toilet paper roll monkey
Follow these steps to make your monkey:
1. Cut a large circle and two ovals out of the dark brown construction paper.
2. Cut little nubs into the two ovals to make what looks like feet.
3. Cut one bigger circle and two smaller circles out of the light brown construction paper
4. Glue your big light brown circle onto the large dark brown circle. This has made the monkey's head.
3. Glue your two smaller light brown circles behind them monkey's head. This has made his ears.
4. Glue your googly eyes onto the front of the monkey so he has eyes now.
5. Give your monkey a smile with the marker.
6. Glue your monkey's head to the toilet paper roll.
7. Glue your monkey's feet to the bottom of the toilet paper roll.
8. Wait for the glue to dry and show everyone your amazing monkey!
