Toilet Paper Play Activity to Get Out Extra Energy
At Happy Valley Preschool they know that their little ones have a lot of energy. Making kids sit at a desk all day is not an option--kids need to get that extra energy out sometimes in a fun and safe manner! This activity of ripping-up and tossing around toilet paper is a great example of a safe and fun way to release all that energy!
Ripping up and running around
To do this activity you simply need some rolls of toilet paper so that you can give one to each kid. Then tell them they can rip it up and toss the pieces on the floor as they run around the room. The kids will have a fantastic time dashing about and tossing their toilet paper all over the place. They can wrap themselves up in it like mummies, make a pile, and otherwise do whatever they want while they expend their extra energy! Then, when everyone is done the kids can help clean it all up and if you want you can save the ripped-up toilet paper for use in a sensory bin or for some other activity so it doesn't go to waste.
