Rectangle Fall Tree Craft
Sometimes when certain limitations are imposed upon a craft is can encourage all kinds of creativity. With this in mind Heaven Sent Nursery School in Hackettstown, New Jersey had students make their own Fall trees with only construction paper made out of rectangles to form the shape of the tree!
Also, once they were done with that step they painted the tree with bath poufs! You classroom can do this activity too by following the directions below.

Materials Needed for the Rectangle Fall Tree
- Brown construction paper
- White paper (can be regular paper or construction paper)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Bath Pouf
- Fall-color paints (Red, Orange, Yellow)
How to Make the Rectangle Fall Tree
First cut the brown construction paper into various-sized rectangles, you will need a really big one for the tree trunk and smaller pieces for tree-limbs.
Paste the rectangles onto the white paper in a way that creates a tree.
Using the bath pouf dab it in the paints and then on and around the tree so that it looks like it has a bunch of colorful leaves on it.
Let the paint dry and then proudly display your craft!
