Shape Face Craft
Hello!
With my Pre-K4 class this year during "All about me" week, we talked about how everyone looks different, but they are all wonderful. We made a chart of everyone's eye color (pic, and then we talked about our craft. I explained how everyone should color the big circle the color of their skin, but they can choose any color for the eyes, ears, mouth and nose. I did tell them that the shapes for the parts of the face had to make sense (i.e. no square eyes). The craft came out really cute, and I'll definitely be doing it again (pic! It did require some prep, cutting out all the different shapes ahead of time, but it wasn't too bad, my assistant had everything cut in under an hour.
