Snowmen at night group activity
After reading the book, we had everyone use tempera paint sticks to make their snowmen at night. Then we asked them what hey would do if they were a snowman at night and wrote that on papers around the big black paper.
We made these "snow kids" where the kids painted a self portrait on a paper plate and then added a jacket and snow. We wrote what they like to do on a snowy day.
This is a group of 4/5 year olds at our private preschool in Vancouver, Washington
We also made our own "Snow" with white hair conditioner and baking soda
