Casting-Out Paintbrushes Group Painting Activity
At Garden Gate Child Development Center, they did a very creative and fun group painting activity! The kids attached paintbrushes to little fishing poles and then cast them out towards a big white sheet that they then were able to splatter paint upon!
Materials needed for this activity
To do this painting activity you will need:
*Paintbrushes
*Miniature fishing rods
*Paint (tempera or acrylic works well)
*Containers to hold your paints
*A large white piece of paper/white sheet/etc. to serve as your canvas
How to do this activity
To do this painting activity you can follow these steps:
1. Attach your paintbrush to your miniature fishing rods.
2. Dip your paintbrushes in your paint.
3. Cast your fishing rods out so the paintbrushes smack against your big canvas and splatter paint upon it.
4. Keep casting your paintbrushes out and painting the canvas.
5. Wait for the paint to dry and show your creation to everyone!
