Two Fun Fall-Themed Painting Activities for Kids
At Yokasti's Daycare, they spent the day doing two fun painting activities which the children loved! One was a more simple activity of painting a pumpkin print-out orange and the other was a more involved craft that involved getting feet wet with paint and using them to create an image of Fall leaves!
Pumpkin print-out painting
The pumpkin print-out painting was a good activity to help the little ones build-up their hand-eye coordination, as they worked to fill in the print-outs with orange paint so their pumpkin looked like a real one.
Feet leaves painting craft
This activity had the children cover the bottom of one foot in green paint and the bottom of the other foot in red paint. Then, they pressed their feet to the construction paper. After the paint dried, they drew lines like the kinds seen in leaves to create their own little foot-styled Fall leaves! Everyone was sure to carefully wipe-off their feet when they were done as well!
