Working little hands
in my class, the children have a difficult time holding and using scissors, therefore, I got out the playdough and scissors and helped them to know how to hold the scissors correctly and to practice cutting with them. Some children were starting to get the hang of it but others still had a very hard time, where they would try to use both hands to cut the playdough. I tried using the technique where the need to have the thumb in the little hole and 2 fingers in the bigger hold and the thumb had to be on top, after saying this it helped a few of the other children to get it right. This is something I need to work more with the children as there were still a few that had difficulties.
