Writing chinese words
My class having class of writting chinese new year words on February. This activity call write
"Hui Chun 挥春". For the age 5 above, they can using brush to write their on words.
For the age below 5, the kids still can't hold the brush to write, so we offer them a sponge to paint it.
The words they write, can let them learn the chinese words as well.
All this Chinese words written are blessing words. Before they started to write, i ask them to read out all the blessing words written by me on whiteboard, let them know they can wish others during chinese new year.
Some the words are:
年年有余 (means every year we have more enough)
身体健康 (means healthy all the time)
平安喜乐 (means peace and joyful be with us all the time)
主恩满溢 (means blessing from God abundantly forever)
All my kids are from age 3-11. We separated to 2 group, so one group are using brush, another group are using sponge. Some of them are first time to have this activity.
They enjoy all the time.
Because of SOP, we only can take picture one by one but not in group.
