This zoo-themed animal shape-matching activity is a fantastic way for young children to learn about shapes plus the wide range of animals that exist.
This activity works perfectly when incorporated into a unit focusing on shapes or animals and is a great deal of fun!
Zoo-Themed Animal Shape Matching Printables
The printables for this activity are spread-out over four sheets overall. The initial two sheets are the activity itself where there is a space for the animal in its unique shape. The other two sheets are the animals themselves that need to be cut-out from the sheet so that they can be placed on the activity sheet in their proper spot (e.g. the Zebra is a triangle and goes in the triangle spot on the sheets).
Should you want to laminate this activity, you can do that too! That way you can repeat this activity as many times as you would like with a lot of children!
