Apples life cycle
We are going to paint with apples and make sugar free apple sauce for this months apple theme. I will measure out the ingredients and allow the children to add each ingredient to the crock pot. While the apple sauce cooks in the crock pot all day we will go on with our schedule and have a taste at snack. I will cut out an apple template for various apple art. Painting with apples, painting with shapes on an apple template, and finger painting apples. We will read books about apples, how they grow and where they grow. We will discuss from seed how they grow. And discuss the whole process of the life cycle. We will taste the different color apples and do a graph of which apples the children like better. I will also send activities home that they could do at home with their families to encourage family engagements. Let them decorate a apple template the way they want to and show their creativity
