Car Mat Number Matching
This was one of our popular activities. The children have asked to this a few times this week. We gave each child cars and the children drive the cars around the car mat. Then when the children were ready, they were to drive their numbered cars into the correct corresponding parking spot. The children had so much fun doing this activity! Not only did this activity teach them about numbers but it also taught the children to have patience and how to take turns waiting. This activity can also be altered in so many different ways. You can have the children do shape matching, letter matching, picture matching and etc.
