District art show!
Two years ago, I had an art show for my classroom for parents to come to the school and view their child's artwork. It was held in the cafeteria, and we invited families, the school admin, school board members and other admin from the schoolboard office. It was a huge success. So much so that the admins decided to start having an annual art show for the entire district. Last year's was at the end of the school year and now again this year in late winter. I hope we get to do it again next year. All the teachers loved being able to show off their classes' talents. It was so much fun to set up and I love seeing the community come out to see it!
