DIY Pumpkin Patch

We are about to leave the Fall months and enter Winter, but at Poway Country Preschool they wanted to visit a pumpkin patch! Due to COVID-19 risks, they could not take all the students out to a patch, but they did something else creative--they brought the pumpkin patch to them (so to speak! While they could not physically travel to a pumpkin patch, they were able to make their own on the school's property and celebrate what time we have left of Fall. Everyone chose their own pumpkins, enjoyed some fall-inspired snacks, and did a variety of fun and games. They even did some pumpkin carving and made pumpkin pie.

DIY Fun for the Fall
You can create your own fun for the Fall and upcoming Winter as well. Due to COVID-19 still being an issue you maybe can't take field trips, but you can make your own pumpkin patches or when it gets colder, a winter wonderland! As the pictures above and below show, at Poway Country Preschool they used their creativity to make their own fun!

Even if they couldn't go to the pumpkin patch, they were able to create their own amazing one!
