Dr. Seuss Themed Centers

At Odyssey Early School at Trace Crossings, they did a variety of centers themed for the works of Dr. Seuss! The kids loved engaging in activities that reflected his creations.

Fish counting

The kiddos counted-up goldfish crackers and matched the number listed on a print-out to a fishbowl. It was like the famous rhyme, "One fish, two fish. Red fish, blue fish."

Sock coloring

Everyone colored-in socks like the line about a fox in socks! The kids were very creative in the ways they colored the socks.

Going places

Everyone made an air balloon just like the kind seen in, "Oh, the places you'll go," and then wrote a place they'd like to go! The activities and crafts done in the centers were all very impressive.
