Hand Print Birds

During our theme of animals and creatures we used our hands to print the bodies of birds. With the help of adults we then cut around these and stuck them to a pre made templates. We used glue to add googley eyes and orange paint to paint the beak.

This task was done with primary school learners with ASD working up to P8. They really enjoyed the messiness of the task and getting creative. Using scissors and glue is always a great way to build fine motor skills and increase dexterity.

Overall I would highly recommend this task and it can fit into many themes!
