Sudoku-Themed Logic Puzzles for Preschoolers
These logic puzzles for preschoolers are done like a visual game of sudoku. It is easier as the squares are 3X3 instead of 4X4, which results in fewer items needed for the puzzles. By cutting and pasting the colorful images a preschool can develop their logic and reasoning skills!

For the first and second printable sheet, you need to color-in the apples or butterflies the correct color so that everything only appears in its region once, just like a regular game of Sudoku. The other printables are for making your own puzzles!

Should a child finish the puzzle but see that they have repeating apples or butterflies, discuss with them why that is incorrect and help them determine where they may have messed-up. Instead of just telling them, maybe ask a question such as, "I see two green apples in this row, how you can fix that?"
