These flashcards all feature images and text themed for items you would find at school. They are fantastic for helping young children who are learning to read and recognize images of items they will be using when they are at school.
SCHOOL-THEMED IMAGE FLASHCARD PRINTABLES
There are 20 flashcards in total spread out over three printable sheets. The flashcards all feature words that relate to school such as book, scissors, glue, paint, globe, notebook, and so forth. When doing these flashcards with your child you can have the work to recognize and read the name of the items, and then discuss how they are used in a school setting--for example, "Why do we need a pencil case when we are at school?" or, "What does the calculator help us with in the classroom?" These flashcards can be laminated as well so that they last longer and can be used multiple times for a number of review-sessions.
