Shapes and craft for kindergarten
Topic: 2D shapes
Teacher: prepare different shapes that students learn in class. Try to make different colours with different size of shapes.
Students: Work in group of two or three to make their own pictures by using paper shapes.
They can make a house, tree, sun, or a garden. Then students present about their pictures.
Teacher can ask: "How many red circles are there in your picture?"
Students: count then answer. "There are 6 red circles."
It is an effective method that can help kids remember new things in a fastest way and in a long term.
They are all excited about the lesson.
