Connect the Shapes With Counting Kindergarten Worksheets
These worksheets are a fantastic way for kindergarten students to work on their learning of shapes and how to count. By counting-up how many shapes of a particular kind connect, the students can make an image of an animal!
How to do these worksheets
To do these worksheets, students start on the red dot. Then, they count how many times they need to connect to a specific shape from their start point (counting it too). After they connect to that number of the shape, they move on to the next shape and as many numbers as it has to connect to. Then, after all the shapes have been counted and connected, the student will have drawn an animal!
The two worksheets can be seen above. They can be printed and draw upon with a pencil or pen. They also can be laminated and then used with a dry erase marker so that you can use these multiple times with many children!
