Wild animals Unit

Hello! This is what my students in first grade did to finish our unit called WILD LIFE. They had so much fun choosing their favorite animal and then creating them on thin cardboard. First they had to learn the vocabulary of wild animals and different habitats. For this, we played a lot of games: Memory Games, Bingo, Charades, etc. After they had learned the vocabulary, they had to choose an animal and make a brief research on them using our computers at the English laboratory. Then they gathered all the material they needed: cardboard, glue, pencils, markers, etc. They had two classes to work on this arts and crafts project. Once they finished we showed the work so other grades could see the fantastic masks they created. The students were very excited to show and tell the rest of the students about the different animals in wild life. We had an amazing time. Congratulations to them.
