2 Fine Motor Skill Activities for Summertime
At The Cardinal Preschool, they did two fun activities that are sure to be Summertime hits with students! These activities are both stellar for building up fine motor skills and students are sure to enjoy doing them.
Chick fork-painting
The students used forks and yellow paint to create baby chicks--which often hatch in the Spring and Summer! The children were very focused as they created the chick with the careful layering of the fork with paint upon it.
Grass cutting with scissors
The kiddos used scissors outside to help trim the grass. It was a fun activity that helped to develop fine motor skills whilst they carefully trimmed the grass down. Both activities were so fantastic!
