Abstract Shape Gluing Activity
At Whiz Kid Learning Center, they did a fun abstract shape gluing activity.
How the activity was done
The students were given a big piece of paper for mounting their shapes and then used a bunch of leftover construction paper the teachers had altered a little more (some pieces were made smaller) to create neat abstract works of art they glued upon their mounting paper! It was a fantastic way to use old pieces of construction paper and encouraged the kiddos to use their creativity and spatial awareness as they worked to fit all the abstract shape pieces they wanted to use onto their main piece of paper that everyone was glued upon. The final results of each student's work were very impressive to see!
