art week- mini easel and self portrait
During art week have kids design their own artistic easel.
They can glue three popsicle sticks together to make an easel. They glue two together like a "V" and the third across the middle.
They can then have a small rectangle piece of cardstock and draw or paint a mini art piece. This can follow a theme or they can create whatever they want.
Next they draw a self portrait. They can match the clothes they are wearing that day. It should be as realistic as they can create for their age. (using skin color markers and correct hair color).
Include a paintbrush on their portrait.
Glue together!
