Bug Sensory & Color Sorting
For the sensory bins, we explored using tweezers for fine motor and magnifying glasses to search and identify bugs and insects. Our color sorting webs we used Pom poms and placed them on the web that matched our web. I added small containers so that the kiddos can practice opening lids and they collected their bugs in there.
Using the tweezers and containers helped us to strengthen our fine motor and pincer grasp. The containers are a hit and can help the kiddos practice containers for opening their own snacks and such for independence.
