Building Towers with Clothespins and Craft Sticks
At Glenwood Country Day School, they built towers out of craft sticks that had clothespins involved to assist with making everything sturdy and easy to build!
Materials needed for this activity
To do this building activity you just need the following:
*Clothespins
*Craft sticks (these look like popsicle sticks somewhat)
*A flat surface area
How to do this activity
To do this building activity follow these steps:
1. Discuss how to build the towers using the clothespins and craft sticks through careful stacking.
2. Have the students either work in groups or alone to begin building their towers!
3. Assist students as needed in getting their towers to have a solid foundation and build-up in a sturdy manner.
4. Celebrate when towers are done!
