Green Eggs and Ham Rhyming Craft
At Rita Book's Daycare, they did a fun rhyming craft! The kids read the famous Dr. Seuss book, "Green Eggs and Ham," then did a craft dedicated to putting together eggs with words written on them that rhymed!
Rhyming words and eggs
It was a fun craft as the eggs had different designs to help children see how to fit them together if they weren't sure what rhymed. Words such as, "Goat," and, "Boat," could be seen along with, "Car," and, "Are." After the children were sure the eggs matched with the rhymes and shapes, they glued them together on a piece of paper. The resulting eggs were very impressive to see with the shapes aligned and the rhymes correctly by each other. It was a fantastic craft for puzzle-solving, hand-eye coordination, and creativity!
