Painting to Music and Discussing How it Makes Us Feel
At Oak Knoll Christian Preschool, they did a fun activity combining different kinds of arts! The children listened to an assortment of music and while listening to music painted how it made them feel. It was a good activity to talk about how music can make us feel emotions and one good way to express our emotions is through art as opposed to acting out.
Music and paint
The kiddos were excited to listen to many different kinds of music and paint how it made them feel. Slow and quiet songs resulted in, "Cooler," colors such as blue that could represent feeling sad while fast and exciting songs had colors such as red and yellow--students said how these represented feeling excited and happy. The combination of music and painting was a cool art activity that all the kids loved!
