Teaching the young learners to differentiate between the letters "B" and "P" in terms of their sounds and formations
I Asked the students if they know these letters and their sounds. then I
Explained that today, we will learn how to differentiate between the letters "B" and "P" and their sounds.
I Showed to them the flashcards or pictures of objects starting with "B" (e.g., ball, banana) and "P" (e.g., pen, pig). and I Pronounced the names of the objects clearly, emphasizing the initial sounds. For example, "B-b-b-ball" and "P-p-p-pen."
I invited the students repeat the sounds after me, focusing on the initial sounds of each word.
and we Played a quick game where I held up a flashcard, and the students should say the sound they hear (e.g., "B" or "P").
Also I asked them to take a sheet of paper and closed to their mouths and pronounce the sound /b/ and /p/ to recognize the differences between the voiced and the voiceles sounds of (B) and( P)
I distributed worksheets with letter "B" and "P" tracing activities to each student
