Apple Theme Preschool
These are two activities that we did during our Apple Theme week.
For the first worksheet we used shredded red paper and a simple apple template with the inscription ”I apple-solutely love you!” which made the project more special to take home.I use glue sponges which are a helpful tool to use with preschool students and create much less of a mess than glue sticks or glue bottles.
The second activity was apple taste testing. I bought each color apple (green, red, and yellow) cut them in very small chunks and we taste test each of the different color apples. Some students didn’t know there were different colors and/or they had never tried the different colors. When we were finished taste testing the students had to color a simple apple template worksheet with what color apple was their favorite. We did this activity right before snack so that after they were finished with their work they got an apple of their choice for snack time!
