Balloon Paint-Stamping Activity For Little Ones
Very young children enjoy exploring the World by feeling various textures. Balloons are a fascinating texture due to being so smooth and squishy. This paint-stamping activity they did at Sandcastle Child Care involves giving preschool and younger-aged children a balloon that has been blown-up with some air and letting them stamp paint with it!
Materials needed for the balloon paint-stamping activity
To do this activity you will need:
*A baloon
*Paper
*Paint (acrylic or tempera works well)
How to do the ballon paint-stamping activity
To do this activity follow these steps:
1. Have an adult blow-up a balloon a little bit (not too much) and tie closed.
2. Take the blown-up balloon and dip it in paint.
3. Gently stamp the paint-covered part of the balloon on your paper.
4. Continue dipping your balloon in other paint colors and stamping.
5. Wait for the paint to dry and show everyone your creation!
