Fireworks Painting Activity

July 4th just passed and featured all kinds of fireworks going off! The kiddos at Little Seeds Children's Center did a craft dedicated to recreating some of the impressive fireworks they saw by using cleverly cut-up toilet paper tubes along with paint and black construction paper.

Materials needed for this craft

To do this fireworks craft you will need the following:

*Toilet paper rolls

*Scissors

*Paint (acrylic or tempera works well)

*Paper plates

*Black construction paper

How to do this craft

To do this fireworks craft you can follow these steps:

1. Use your scissors to cut one end of the toilet paper rolls into little ribbons you can lay out.

2. Pour your paint on each of the paper plates.

3. Dip your toilet paper rolls ribbon-side into the paint and get them covered in the color you want to use.

4. Dab your toilet paper rolls on the black construction paper and see how it looks like fireworks going off!

5. Keep dabbing paint until you are done.

6. Let your paint dry and show everyone your fireworks creation!
