Candy Corn Painting Activity

At Messiah Lutheran Preschool and Child Care, Fort Wayne, they made paintings of that infamous Halloween treat, candy corn! The kids had a lovely time painting the print-out and making a colorful representation of candy corn.

Materials needed for the painting activity

To do this candy corn painting activity you will need the following:

*Piece of paper with a print-out of candy corn

*Paintbrush

*Orange, yellow, and white paint (tempera or acrylic works well)

How to do the painting activity

To paint your candy corn follow these steps:

1. Take your piece of paper and lay it down in front of you.

2. Dab your paintbrush in orange paint and spread it on your candy corn print-out where the color orange normally is

3. Dab your paintbrush in yellow paint and spread it where yellow goes.

4. Dab your paintbrush in white paint and spread it for the white tip.

5. Wait for your paint to dry.

6. Proudly display your painting of candy corn!
