Learning About Designing a Rocket Ship
At Plum Hill Preschool, they learned a lot about rockets and outer space. After discussing rockets and how they work to get us off of the planet Earth the students were asked to design their own rocket ship.
Creating neat rockets
The students were excited to discuss how rockets work by using the thrust from their engines to get them out of the atmosphere. After discussing this, the kids were eager to make their own clever rockets with thrusters.
Talking about space
The kiddos were eager to talk about space. They learned how there is no gravity once you lift off from Earth and imagined what it must be like to float around on your ship in space. It was great fun for the class talking about space and drawing rockets!
