Printable Pattern-Matching Game for Kids
This printable game is great for children who are learning about patterns and want to work on matching them. Each sheet has a pattern with a blank space where a matching piece can be put to complete the pattern!
This pattern-matching game is great for building-up attention-spans and concentration skills. If you download this you can cut the pieces into individual cards that children work on matching.
The game kit includes 5 printable sheets in total. There are 4 sheets with cards and 1 sheet with the, "patches," that need to be matched.
Pattern-matching game rules
Have your child study a card and pick the patch that matches with it.
Be aware that there are cards with square patches and similar cards with diamond-shaped patches (a side-ways style square). Accordingly, there are two similar square patches to match with the correct cards.
If the child struggles with doing this game if all the pieces are present, offer him/her a set with only square patches.
Pictures can be printed on a black and white printer according to the number of children you'll have playing the pattern-matching game so that every child can glue the patches to his/her sheet.
You can laminate everything for repeated use too!
