Fruit and Vegetable I Spy Game and Pattern Activity

This I Spy game is the perfect complement to a nutrition lesson plan if you are a teacher or homeschooling your child about nutrition!

Fruit and Vegetable I Spy Game

This free I spy game printable is fantastic for kids. It is vegetable themed and over 2 sheets.

You can count the amount of each fruit or vegetable in the picture. Then write the results at the bottom of the sheet. For simpler counting, you can put markers over pieces while counting.

The Benefits of I Spy Games for Kids

I Spy printables like these fruits and vegetables themed ones are great for providing visual sensory input to kids. This makes them a great choice for visual sensory seekers. They also help develop a child's visual tracking ability and improve visual discrimination. This printable requires kids to visually scan through the objects and find ones that are the same.

Fruit and Vegetable Pattern Activity

For this activity, you need to cut two sheets. Then, cut one sheet into cards. Ask your child to correctly lay out the cards on the sheet to create a pattern.

Children will absorb new information at a faster speed through hands-on activities versus strictly using a worksheet and a pencil. Playing I Spy and pattern activities with your kids is also a great way to improve speech, language, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
